A few days ago, while I was taking a bath after Reese left for school, her yaya told me to hurry up because there's a surprise waiting for me. Not having any idea at all what it was nor expecting anything, I just continued with my routine. After I got out of the bathroom, she handed me a mailed envelope coming from Reese addressed to me.
It was definitely a pleasant surprise. The letter read, "To Mommy and Daddy, Thank you and I love you. From Reese."
Her school arranged for a field trip to a local radio station and the post office around the second week of January and that was where they got to personally send a letter to their parents. Even if I know that Reesey still could not write and it was just Teacher Cathy who helped her write her sweet note, It still made my day a very happy one.
