Perfect Way to End the Day

I realized that I've been spending too much time online when Reesey started screaming and calling out for me every time she sees me in front of the computer. I felt guilty as it dawned on me that I have not been spending quality time with her recently. So I resolved to go online only when she's fast asleep at night and when her papa is off from work which is the only time we catch up on each other's temporarily separated lives.

Yesterday, after we had dinner, Reesey and I spent some time with Ninang Ying (my sister) and Yana (my 7-month old niece). Reesey, as always, was a picture of a fun-loving, super active and worry-free child who is making the most out of her very young life. She was giggling, shrieking, jumping, rolling all over their play mat, peek-a-booing and messing up the room. Everything excites her. I was dead tired from playing with her and was just watching her towards the end of our play time with Yana. I was exhausted but I felt blissful. My hurts and stress from work fleetingly melted away as we walked hand in hand to our bedroom and got ready for bed. =)
