Today is my 32nd birthday and to wrap my beautiful day up, I thought of listing down 32 random things I'm thankful for, here goes...
1. mommy... for all the wonderful memories, laughter, tears, learnings, prayers, inspiration, etc., especially her faith in the Lord and her strength that carried us all through out her battle with cancer. i still miss her everyday.
2. daddy...for showing us what true love really means, for giving more than what he can, for staying strong and healthy for all of us, for loving and caring for us unendlessly.
3. the internet...for helping me stay connected with friends and family from all over the globe.
4. YM...for all the free talk hours ron, reesey and i get to have.
5. my in-laws, papa onie, mama linda, terl and family, kochie and family, ryan and abigail, and raymond...for always making me feel welcome and loved.
6. snickers and reese's peanut butter cups...my guilty pleasure!
7. water...i don't need soda, coffee, tea, juice, etc., i just want water!
8. simvastatin...my cholesterol and triglyceride are down to normal again (i think).
9. adobe photoshop...for the invites, scrapbooks and albums i make.
10. my new phone...its 5 megapixel cam helps me catch precious moments with reesey =)
11. my "sex and the city" collection...a feel-good substitute when i miss my old friends.
12. "friends" reruns and borrowed dvd's...for when i need a good laugh.
13. pirated dvd's...sorry mtrcb but they cost way less and for almost the same quality. perfect for a bargain lover like me!
14. 168 and tutuban...for my holidays shopping pleasure.
15. clamps...for getting my hair out of my face.
16. hankies...my lifelong neurosis.
17. booksale...for cheap but enjoyable reads.
18. shopaholic series and other chic lit and mom lit novels...for the entertainment.
19. twitter...for allowing me to follow the stars, hehe =)
20. blutooth...for easier file transfer.
21. music...for soothing my mind and relaxing my soul.
22. jenny, aling ellen, and erwin...for my occasional pampering sessions.
23. paydays...making these occasional pamperings possible.
24. privilege card...which i allot for unbudgetted spendings.
25. thd 563...for bringing me to and from work everyday.
26. lalaine, earvin, yana, kenneth, jacky, kassy and jeffrey...we may not blend perfectly well at all times but we love each other just the same. love u loads guys!
27. ate ora...for taking care of my precious reesey.
28. reese margareth...for all the joy she brings to ron and me, for waking me up everyday, for keeping me sane, for all the wonderful little things that she is and that she does.
29. ron...for loving me through the good and the bad times, for not giving up, for the countless sacrifices, for choosing me in spite of all the difficulties he had to face, for thinking of me and reese first and foremost, for 14 years of being patient with me. for everything!
30. for our nz residence permit...that will allow reese and i to reunite with papa ron. yipee!
31. the past 32 years...for all the things i have experienced, learned and loved, and the things that i am yet preparing for.
32. the Lord's love and countless blessings...despite my shortcomings and weaknesses, the Lord continues to bless my life abundantly.
May the next years of my life be more fruitful. May I be a better wife, mother, sister, daughter, and friend. =)
