Off To Try School

I know I haven't been around for more than a month now. I don't have any excuse but I have one big news...



My Reesey will try school tomorrow! Well, actually, she'll try it for a week before we decide whether to enroll her or not. Thanks to the very accomodating children's school a few houses away from ours.



Nevertheless, excited as any mom whose first baby will try school for the first time, I bought her school things that stirred enough excitement in her clueless heart. And I wrapped her shoebox (which I'm guessing is where she will be asked to keep her personal stuff) with a pretty girly wrapper complete with plastic cover. I bought her a plastic envelope with purple handles which now holds her art paper, crayons, water color, pencil, eraser, sharpener and ruler.



I also put her to bed early tonight so that she'll have all the energy she will need in her first school day ever. And maybe it's time for me to go to bed too since I need to be up early to get us both ready for school day number 1...
