This is something I decided to create as an outlet for my newfound joy - MOTHERHOOD. Every first time mom like me cannot stop blabbering about her precious little one. My little princess is, as of this article, one year, eleven months, and seventeen days old. She looks like me, I think - and a lot of people agree. Even though she’s got her papa's eyes, lips, and curly hair, she is predominantly a mini-me.

She is truly a gift from above. I had problems getting pregnant due to my Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS). I had two failed attempts with Clomid (a fertility pill) and a hundred buckets of tears. Blessed am I that I did not have to tread the more expensive road to pregnancy a.k.a. In Vitro Fertilization. It turned out that my problem was insulin resistance which could be aided by a very cheap nostrum to type 2 diabetes called Metformin. So, to cut the story short, two cycles and several ultrasounds later, two pink lines confirmed my pregnancy. I could not be more blessed.

Generally speaking, mine was an easy pregnancy. At least, compared to others who suffer from nausea, premature contraction, etc., my discomforts were very petty.
So here I am, happy and proud to be a mom, wanting to share my joys, frustrations, learnings and discoveries along the way.

Thus, this site is born.
